Depicting the edge of a medium format negative, where the viewing of recorded subject matter ends and where the awareness of photographic object-hood begins. In 'Where Materiality Begins' there exists a conflation of photograph and object existing simultaneously in time and space. Exhibited as part of Falmouth University's group show 'Synthesis'.
